The Age of Horrible Sanity

about

Those Foreign Kids return from hibernation brandishing their 3rd album, 'Wrestlemania', between their teeth and with 2 (TWO) record labels following their trail: Vibe/Anti-Vibe and Geertruida. The Age of Horrible Sanity is the first single of the album, with a video made by Fan Liao.

Taking a famous Edgar Allan Poe quote and applying it to modern times, in which people who think of themselves as ‘the sane’ are partaking in a bizarre ritual of burning themselves out and over-consuming. A jagged, guitar-hook driven noise rock song with explosive diversifications.

lyrics

Tune in once, Can’t erase it,
What you want,
Can’t be done, all in one day, it’s gonna take a while.

Tune in twice, Can’t just change it.
What you want,
Can’t be done, all in one day, it’s gonna take a while.

Down, down the crooked path.
Lingering in the dark,
Seeping through the cracks,
Falling out of place.

Steer it off the coast,
Let it slip away.
Let it slip away.
Let it slip away.

It’s not coming back, let it slip away,
It’s not coming back, not ever coming back.
